Here begins a 1-year journey to find joy through creating artwork and giving it away. My hope is to create each day, document it, then choose a recipient to send my work to by mail. Surprises are fun. I will post each one after I send it to document the year.
A close family friend passed away this Spring, one who had more joy in her soul than anyone I have ever met. She gave her joy away to everyone she met through gifts, her kind words, her teaching, and her life. Everything pointed to this joy that she had. I just got back from a visit to my grandparents' in northern Ohio. On their refrigerator was a photograph of this friend with the jubilant, joyful smile on her face as she hugged her husband's arm. I was again reminded of her love and joy that she gave away to all.

Sarah, This is Beautiful! Becky was one of the sweetest people I have ever had the honor of knowing. With all of her own problems, she never failed to think of others. A lesson well learned <3 She is remembered with love by many <3

I love you, Sarah! My mom was a gift that I thank God for every day. Thank you for doing this project in her honor. She loved you and admired your talent...but above all she was filled with joy because she knew your love for Him.
