Sarah Riedel Puckett
I grew up in a small rural town in central Ohio, and then attended Miami University for my undergraduate degree. I graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Art Education where I fell in love with the art of painting. After graduating I spent a year serving as a missionary, and then proceeded to use my degree in art education to teach high school art in western Ohio. I am still teaching, and am hoping to pursue my MFA in painting or visual arts in the near future.
I create art out of a thirst that is never fully quenched, painting as an experience to capture my life as some would capture through a written journal. I paint my surroundings, attempting to capture the unseen things that are constantly occurring. My hope is that I will continue to create in ways that reflect who I am, where I am in life, and the things that I am learning, inspired and motivated by the works of the Eternal.
